Microwave assisted synthesis and antimicrobial activity of novel 1-[1/2-(1-Benzyl-1H-[1,2,3]triazol-4-ylmethoxy)-naphthalen-2/1-yl]-3-(1-phenyl-3-aryl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-propenones

Abstract: A series of novel 1-[1/2-(1-Benzyl-1H-[1,2,3]triazol-4-ylmethoxy)-naphthalen-2/1-yl]-3-(1-phenyl-3-aryl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-propenones were design and synthesized by Click reaction followed by Claisen-Schmidt condensation under microwave irradiation and conventional heating methods. The structures of newly synthesized compounds have been established on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, 1H & 13C NMR and mass spectral data. All the compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity.
