Leucasinoside: A New A bietane D iterpenoid G lycoside from Leucas zeylanica

Abstract: A new abietane diterpenoid glycoside , leucasinoside , along with two known ones were obtained from the aerial parts of Leucas zeylanica . Its structure was characterized by comprehensive analyses of 1 H , 13 C NMR, COSY, H S QC, HMBC , NOESY spectroscopic, and HREIMS mass spectrometric data. All the isolates were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activities on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW264.7, and the new compound showed moderate inhibitory activity.
