Regioselective synthesis of new variety of 1,4-benzothiazines

Abstract: A facile and regioselective synthesis of 1, 4-benzothiazines was achieved with a variety of a -cyano a -alkoxy carbonyl epoxides and 2-aminothiophenol in the presence or no of HCl in the reaction medium. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectral studies.
